Letter from the President of DBMetals

1/20/2026

Dear Valued Customers and Clients,

The last few weeks have been nothing short of overwhelming. At DBMetals, we’ve seen order volumes surge well beyond our typical pace as interest in copper bullion grows and moves faster than our fulfillment speed.

While this is a testament to your trust in our products and service, it also means we’ve fallen behind on our own standards for speed and efficiency. In order to catch up and make sure every package that goes out is handled with the accuracy and care you expect, we made a tough but necessary decision: we temporarily turned off product listings so that we can clear the backlog without sacrificing quality.

Here’s where we stand, with complete transparency:

  • Our team is giving it everything. Employees are working overtime, nights, weekends, and whatever extra time it takes to get orders out the door. There’s nothing optional about it, they’re maxed out because you showed up in force.

  • We hit a capacity constraint. Minting, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping copper bullion at high volume isn’t like flipping a switch. It’s precision work, and with demand spiking unexpectedly after Christmas, our normal throughput slowed while we rebalanced priorities.

  • Listings went offline so we could survive the avalanche. This was not a marketing stunt, it was a practical step to protect minting and fulfillment quality and prevent longer delays from compounding.

  • We’re tightening up processes and adding capacity. We’re investing in better systems, additional capacity, and tweaking workflows so that this kind of backlog becomes a memory, not a repeat performance.

We understand delays are frustrating. We hate them as much as you do. Your business matters to us, and every order is a commitment we don’t take lightly. Please know that while things might still be slower than usual for a short while, we are focused on reducing turnaround times and restoring our typical reliability as quickly as humanly possible.

Thank you for your patience, your trust, and your business. We’ll get through this busy season stronger — with your support, grit, and some truly heroic hours already logged by the DBMetals team.

Sincerely,

Dakota Lane Bartell
